Gave me a registration ticket even though the vehicle had just changed ownership. I'm supposed to have 30 days to change it over. My insurance card was only 2 days old. Police are so retarded! If they had any other skill they might do something useful besides harrass decent people. They're fools!
Although most of us dislike being ticketed, it happens, but when the police use questionably tactics (putting it politely) it become a whole different matter. When officers hide to( lets be bluntly honest ) generate revenue its no longer about doing what's best for the civilian population but now revolves around making money. The Lowell police in the last six weeks or so have been doing exactly that. I also know a few people. One which I will be going to court with due to being wrongly ticketed for not wearing a seatbelt. This is underhanded and will erode respect from the general population. I am not anti police , they are truly a necessity and it is a job you could never get me to do, but it is becoming painfully apparent that there are problems with tactics and ethics now appearing amoung our police department
Officer Johnston was very rude him being officer who wrote up report for certain accident when called to get more info was very rude and told me report would be ready this afternoon. I KINDLY REQUEST THAT INSURANCE INFO BE PASSED ON AT THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT. Is in not realized both parties are already suffering THEN TO HAVE TO WAIT LONGER. I TOLD HIM HE WAS NOT BEING NICE AND CONTINUED TO BE RUDE.
Involved in auto accident. The officer was very professional and polite. He seems to be a good officer who does his job very well.
No one likes to be pulled over, but my review isn't about me getting a ticket but my interaction with the police officer after being pulled over. I am writing this in light of all the public distrust of police departments to remind people that there are still some very good cops out there.
September 13, 2014 @ roughly 10:30am, I was traveling south bound on 49 and thought I was traveling with traffic when the speed limit was reduced, but I must have been traveling slightly faster to have been pulled over. Once pulled over, officer Morgan walked up to the passenger side of the window and identified himself to me right away (which I have never had happen before) and informed me of why he had pulled me over. Officer Morgan was very professional and courteous, and IMO is a shining example that there are still very good officers on the field. My interaction with officer Morgan left me with a very good perception of the Lowell police department. If the rest of the department is like officer Morgan, I have no doubt that they would be able to restore public faith if only one person at a time. I would have given him a kudos of I went to my court date, however I live out of state and had to pay my ticket by phone.
