We were able to get a walk up site for one night. The campground was quiet and clean. The kids had a good time.
They could do a few small improvements that would make a big difference.
Hickory Creek =/does not/ have bike trails. I was not able to edit Google's search information.
Nice family place, good people keep the place up.
Driving all the way from Hawarden IA just to have some quite time and to have fun with the family i really enjoyed my stay for the holiday been here before and had a great time wish they had more bathrooms on site but really cheap I think.. all sites have electricity very handy and no extra charge! Really recommend this place!
This place is beautiful but usually busy great access to the lake and beautiful campgrounds but a little close to each other the owner of the marina is it complete jerk do not buy from him do not visit him don't even talk to him the marina is privately owned not by the state park. The people at the check-in Booth or extremely nice and extremely helpful would have given that five but the marina owner is a complete a-hole and the park is usually always busy make reservations!!
Good campsites, though.
